PESHAWAR: The police claimed to have foiled a terror bid and arrested a suspected person besides recovering a bomb from his possession in Peshawar.
The police conducted snap checking of suspected person near Machni gate on Friday morning and recovered a homemade bomb from his bag while his accomplice fled the scene.
The Police shifted suspected person to undisclosed location for further investigation. The Bomb Disposal Squad was called in to defuse the bomb.
Meanwhile a joint search operation has been launched near Hassan Garhi and Machni Gate to arrest the miscreant.
